Orchestra/Choir

Founded in 2006 by conductor Mihaela Cesa-Goje, Jubilate Choir is comprising some of Cluj Napoca leading ensemble singers. The choir’s repertory covers more than two hundred works from Renaissance to the 21st Century and it is regularly invited to sustain concerts, both accapella or accompanied by orchestras. The choir recorded two albums, the first one in 2010 and the second one in 2012. Both cd’s contain sacred works from international and Romanian repertory.
The choir also sustains the religious services of St. Iosif Church in Cluj – Napoca.
 
 
Mihaela Cesa Goje is currently the conductor of Jubilate Choir and Cluj Symphony Orchestra.
Mihaela has gained widespread attention in 2009 as the winner of the Taki Concordia Conducting Fellowship. She has been invited since to conduct the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, the Colorado Symphony, the  Florida Orchestra and the Hartford Symphony.

In 2011 Mihaela Cesa Goje  has been announced by the Los Angeles Philharmonic as a Dudamel Conducting Fellow for the 2011-2012 season. Mihaela Cesa Goje is the first woman to be awarded this fellowship. She worked alongside Gustavo Dudamel and musicians of the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
